Dear reader,
I hope this artist statement finds you well and hopefully give you a bit of insight into who I am.
I’m still trying to figure things out, and maybe after reading this you’ll be able to help.
(If you feel you have something interesting to say, please email me with your suggestions.)

Does the stock market make sense? NFTs? What about that white line in the train station platform - do we really need to know not to get too close? #mindthegap - Why are the Dutch so attracted to flatness yet all come to the Alps for their vacations?

Questioning the increasingly absurd world we have built for ourselves (and where we are heading with it) is a core element of my work. Navigating the fine line between documentary and satire, I like to show rather than tell and allow the viewer to come to their own conclusions.
Through my work, I want to bring new perspectives and raise awareness about topics that are important to me and think are worth sharing with others.

As a curious person with many interests (my doctor says it’s ADD), I don't focus on one topic - my projects always tend to question how humans interact with each other, make use of and transform the spaces we live in. Because the content of my pictures is usually quite absurd, I present it in a deadpan ‘’typical’’ documentary way as I feel like one has to be somewhat serious to be taken seriously.

Btw, did you know that cucumbers and gherkins are the same plants? Crazy world, isn’t it?
